What is self care to you?
What is ‘self care’ to you?To me, it’s not about having baths and reading my candlelight … it’s about RESPECT!- doing what makes you feel good- wearing what makes you feel good- actually, anything that makes you feel good!!- hanging around with people who inspire you- dropping people who don’t treat you well … including toxic family members! By the way, you can find these delicious scarves on my website!
Delicious Black / Charcoal Shimmer!
Woohoo, shop update! This gorgeous scarf is a popular one, but I haven’t made one to add to the website for a while - naughty me!But I have now rectified this … you can find it on my website - it’s so soft and delicious, perfect for all genders, and goes with everything in your wardrobe!I really need to make more in different colours, because my old hot pink and black one is the one that I reach for the most, even after all these years :D
New scarves at The Jam Factory
Mustard / Dusty Pink Vintage weave!I had a request to make a couple more of these for The Jam Factory, and I had forgotten how much I love this weave structure! For the weaving nerds out there, it’s a 4 shaft M & W draft. It’s strange how light the mustard looks against the oatmeal and dusty pink warp - it looks much darker against my usual black warp ;)Head over to the Jam Factory in the city if you want one … saying that, I think I’ll need to make more in this design again!
Fleurieu Arthouse restocked!
Have you visited Fleurieu Arthouse?I have just delivered some Liquorice Allsorts scarves (though I have been informed one has sold already), so if you are wine tasting in McLaren Vale, make sure you pop in and have a look!I will be restocking these scarves on the shop, but for the moment, Fleurieu Arthouse are the only ones who have some, so be quick! They are on the Main Road (opposite Oscars), and are open from Thursday - Monday, 11am - 4pm
Weaving more Liquorice Allsorts scarves!
And we’re away! You saw the loom setup, next is the actual weaving process …I’m making a warp full of Liquorice Allsorts scarves, so it’s a lot of fun changing colours every now and then, and making colour decisions as I go. It’s a very ‘free and easy’ way to weave, and I’m loving it :DEvery Liquorice Allsort is one-of-a-kind, so you will never have the same one as anyone else! These are going to Fleurieu Arthouse, but I have created a ‘Made to Order’ listing, as I have had a few queries about this one … and they sold out pretty...
