I was inspired to create this design when I began studying the phases of the Moon in Astrology classes. The Moon represents emotions, intuition and creativity, and the phase you were born under greatly affects your personality. These are the phases of the Moon from a Southern Hemisphere perspective ;)

I have hand stitched this piece on canvas with high quality wool from the Australian Tapestry Workshop, and it has been professionally stretched over a wooden frame (see third picture).
