Next in line for ‘this idea is either dumb or genius’: I present to you: "Queeriosities" 🌈!OK, so I had this fabric that I had woven, and I wanted to have another go making a sculpture, after the lols of the giant scrunchie ;)So what the hell are they? And we’re away!You saw the loom setup, next is the actual weaving process …I’m making a warp full of Liquorice Allsorts scarves, so it’s a lot of fun changing colours every now and then, and making colour decisions as I go. ‘Dressing the loom’ before I can even start weaving!What does that mean? Well, it’s just putting the warp onto the loom.And when I say ‘putting’, I mean:- sleying the reed- threading the heddles- winding the warp onto the back beam- tying the front of the warp onto the front beam- tying up the treadlesAnd then away we go!
