I make delicious handwoven accessories, but I do not profess to know ANYTHING about fashion :D
And does that matter? I hope that you are here because you have your own style, and love the colours that I have chosen for my range - and you choose what you love because you love it, not because they are fashionable *
I’ve always dressed the way I wanted to. When I was in high school, I was bullied for being ‘the weird kid’, and my parents and school counsellor (a shitty one) used to say ‘well if you could just be normal, you wouldn’t have these problems!’.
So easy, huh?
I’ve never been able to be normal. I haven’t even been able to act normal (I think millennials call this ‘masking’?) … it’s just not who I’ve ever been, and my earlier life has been traumatic because of it.
Also, I’m not a good actor - what you see is what you get!
But guess what? These days, I love the fact that I’m different. I love the fact that I have always been myself, and have never bowed to social pressures. I’ve even worked in Corporate Accounts for the last 25 odd years - yes, sometimes it has taken me longer to find jobs due to the way I look, but when I find them, I know that they are hiring me for my skills, not making assumptions due to the way I look.
Oh, and I look at things from a different angle, I think differently ;)
You can find this scarf, (plus many others!) on my website xx
